Probably partially seized brake pistons. Take off your caliper and pump the brake lever. See if the pistons move freely and check for corrosion. If they are pitted or rusted you will need to change them. If it is just perished rubbers then a rebuild kit is quite cheap.

SOURCE: How/can you jump start a 2002 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic

easy
put the bike in gear, rock it backwards to off set the pistons; the stop at the same level; this gives it direction. the normal jump start.

SOURCE: oil drain plug

Hi
It is located on the right side just under the oil tank ; if you follow the rudder hose that exits the rear right side of your oil tank it leads to the bottom of the frame under this is the oil plug. This hose has a plug clamped to the end of it or stuck into a prug that is welded to the frame.
After this unclamp and pull the plug to make sure that you have the dipstick out before pulling it loose.

Please do rate the solution as "FixYa" if found useful and revert for further assistance.
Thanks Rylee

The fork oil is a very specific job needing a manual and a special tool, I don't want to insult anyones mechanical knowledge but if you have never done it before, best to take somewhere else. Engine oil on the other hand is easy, the drain tube to any softail is on the right side by where the frame meets the swing arm, has somekind of plug in it. Start and run bike for a little while, long enough to get it warm but not hot. Remove fill plug and then remove plug in drain line. Using a peice of cardboard or something put in between filter and frame , directing the oil to your drain pan instead of where ever it goes. Put 1 qt oil back in (after everything is reinstalled) start the bike and make sure the oil light goes out, when it does shut bike off and fill to the point that when it is standing upright you get a little oil on the tip of your finger, over filling may result in loss of oil cap from pressure (been there)

Hi l have a 2006 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic and my signal, speedometer, and brake lights don't work. All my fuses are good. And please tell me what the system relay fuses are for?

This question also edited for clarity and moved to model category.

As stated, it isolates various electrical items when the ignition is off and key removed. You say 'system relay fuses', a relay is an electronic switch that uses a small amount of electrical power at low amperage to switch a much larger amperage current. It isn't a 'fuse'.

2004 harley heritage softtail. Battery dead.

Battery is under seat, either 8 or 10mm wrench to remove terminal nuts. Be careful with cables.
