SOURCE: Both headlights not working

This may actually be a pretty easy fix, first of all if you haven't tried replacing the headlights yet, try that. Then if that doesn't work, have a mechanic take a look at the car, the wiring may be faulty and needs to be replaced. But if that doesn't work, which most likely should than the car might be bad. But I'm just jumping to conclusions here. Hope that helped :D

Good Luck!

SOURCE: 2000 Dodge Stratus brake lights don't work

the stratus' are well known for the brakelight switch on the brake pedal going out frequently!!
so go to nearest parts house and buy a brakelight switch, that will most likely fix your problem!!

Headlights work but not taillights what is the cause and how do i fix it?

First you need to determine if all lights in the back are out or just brakes lights or tail lights. Check fuses, taillights will have their own fuses. Could be a bad dash switch, which would be evident if brake lights work but not taillights.

Taillight works when headlights are on, but does not shine brighter when braking or signaling

Change the bulb. When you press the pedal the brake switch changes the circuit to the 21w brighter circuit for the brake light.

Firebird tail lights

It is a ground problem. When you turn on your headlights, they are sharing the same ground that your brake and T/S lights are using. Check all ground connections to the body from all headlight and taillight wiring are connected and tight. If it doesn't affect your taillights, it may be in your T/S switch. Check your ground connections first.

Dash and running lights does not work, everything

The fuse to the taillights/running lights?
It can't be a grounding problem if both taillights and dash don't work.
If only taillights don't work, it would be suspicious grounding.

I have lost my signals and brake lights. all other lights work.Headlights, taillights, markerlights. I have replaced the "Signal Stat" in the steering column, no change. HELP

1. Check for power to the turn signal switch on the White and Yellow wires with the brake pedal depressed. If low voltage, check the stop light switch operation on the brake pedal. Check the Center High Mount stop light (CHMSL) circuit operation.

2. Check the black wires at the turn/brake sockets for a good ground.

3. If all OK, check for a bad frame ground to battery negative. 4. and dont forget to check the rear bulb
