DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC LUBRICANTS IN MOTORCYCLES. The chemicals in the synthetic can swell clutch plates and can make the plates so slippery the clutch doesn't work well.

Oil capacity of a 2.5 tdi nissan np300

During regular service of NP300 takes 4.3 liters of engine oil. Nissan NP300 really needs high quality motor oil. Lots of Nissan vehicles produced in 2009 had 2.5 motor under the hood. Having model code YD25DDTi this engine should be filled up with Synthetic 5w30 type of oil. Choosing normal Synthetic 5w30 oil for NP300 2.5 engine you ensure its long lasting work.

This is the same info for your 08 model. Please make sure to use 5w~30 full synthetic. Mobil 1 or Castrol.

Is the oil for the Boulevard semi Synthetic or full Synthetic

Either oil will work, check your owners manual, it may say what came with it. If in doubt use full synthetic. You can't go wrong in doing that.

Going from synthetic blend oil to a regular premium oil? Any adverse complications?

First of all let me tell you that it is a myth that you can not go back and forth between conventional oil and synthetic or in your case synthetic blend. They all mix very well together but why on earth would you not use a full synthetic in every thing? It will keep your motor so much cleaner, and last way longer, new or 150.000 miles used, does not matter. They refine the synthetic oils way way longer to get the impurities out. Other big thing [ OILTEMPERATURE AND WEAR COLD START UPS ] Exceeds and blows conventional out of the water. plus a real full synthetic you can run a lot longer just spin a new good grade filter on or change it. Me my self Ill run Walmart full synthetic in my grand prix and ROYAL PURPLE in my 2013 mustang. I think there all full synthetics are good compared to the old dirty sludge and if all the new manufactures are recommending it now its good. Do you have any motor rebuilders or trucking builders close to you? Just go look at the oil pans to compare the too . I guarantee you will be sold that day and never run conventional again.... PERIOD.

I have 101,000 miles on my Trailblazer and the last time I had an oil change they wanted to put in synthetic oil......nothing in the owners manual about doing this......should I change or keep using the...

its mostly personal preferance.. your trailblazer doesnt call for synthetic so if you dont want to spend the extra cash i would just get a decent brand 5w30 or 10w30

I need an oil change for my '07 passat sedan and I'm not 100% sure if I should use 5W-30 or 5W-40.

Look at you owner's Manual and it should tell you. and sometimes it also say on the Valve cover Cap where you put the oil in. Good luck

2nd service V star 1300 4000 miles can or should i use castrol gtx oil ?or is it best to use the yamaha brand ?

Use motorcycle oil. It should have the JASO MA rating on the bottle . Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label , it will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears(wrong additives). Use 10w-40 for colder climates and 20w-50 for warm climates/touring. Synthetics will help your bike run cooler and shift easier. Amsoil and Mobile 1 make good motorcycle oil. Yamaha full synthetic (all there oil) is kind of expensive. Suzuki has a 15w-50 full synthetic that is reasonable ($7 a quart last time I got it)

How often do I service my 2006 volkswagen passat 1.6 petrol

depends on the service schedule programmed in at purchase date when had a choice of two....extended(high mileage) or normal. i.e. extended could be upto 40k for a service (just highway)although rarely that long in everyday motoring.normal is 20/annually again the service indicator on the dash will light up ( 20)telling you which is due.OR you can service it every year upto 18k and the car will last longer.....(my opinion)VW use full(5/30 synthetic when new BUT supply all the dealers in europe with 10/40 semi for aftermarket servicing......for normal service intervals and 10/40 full synthetic for extended.there is NO WAY (other than reading diagnostic computer)of telling which service interval was put in by the dealer network......but the dashboard will tell you...

Can Synthetic blend oil be used with a Yamaha 1100 V Star Classic

Yes, Yamaha makes regular,semi-,and full synthetic oil for there motorcycles. Make sure the oil you use is JASO MA certified for motorcycle use. Do not use any oil that says energy conserving, it will shorten the life of your clutch and drive gears. Amzoil and Mobile 1 both make good motorcycle oil (full synthetic). Full synthetic is often the same price as semi-synthetic.

What oil should i use for my W reg ford fiesta finesse 1.3

You can use either a full synthetic blend oil 5W30 or 5W40, and even a semi synthetic blend oil 10W40.
If you have the last invoice for service , it should state which grade of oil was used, or you can check under the bonnet to see if they put a service sticker or tag , showing which oil they used.
Hope this helps

Oil type choice

For the best results use a full synthetic oil - not a synthetic blend. When you change oil filters add an Engine Sentry to the filter.,,
