the end and hit it the fly wheel will come off and most mags
just bolt on the fly wheel has a key way line it up and push
the fly wheel back on and tighten the nut done deal

well because you what setting are you looking for --carb spark plug magneto/cdi if your more specific maybe some one with small engine knowledge might be on to answer your vague question and you have question listed under computers
How old is the gas in the tank? If it is older than 2 months drain it out and put in fresh gas and try again. Have you seen spark jump across the spark plug gap? To check for spark I use a spark checker. One end goes to the plug and the other to the spark plug lead. If you have spark you see a light flash which is more easy to see.
To identify the engine, look on the blower housing (the half round - half rectangular piece covering the flywheel), the numbers should be stamped into the metal somewhere.
As for the magnets inside the flywheel, if you are talking about the ones that go against the inner circumference, you cannot replace them. They have to be in an EXACT location to retain the balance of the flywheel and if they are for the magneto they have to be located so that they trigger your spark at the exact right timing of the engine. Best solution is to purchase a new flywheel.
YES THE CARBURETOR CAN BE OVERHAULED THE REPAIR KIT PART # IS 31840 , THE BOWL IS REMOVED BY REMOVING THE BRASS NUT ON THE BOTTOM WITH A 7/16" WRENCH.YOU MAY NEED TO REMOVE THE WELCH PLUGS FOR A GOOD CLEANING. NEW PLUGS COME WITH KIT. YOU CAN SOAK CARB. IN CLEANER SHOULD BE NO LONGER THAN 15 MINUTES. ALWAYS USE NEW GASKETS. ADJUSTMENTS TO BE DONE WHEN ENGINE IS WARMED UP.
