Sorry I do not know about your yz per se but you should have a coolant full mark in your system coolant bottle and if not over full you should not have any coming out of the overflow line. You might have fluid coming out if you have a head leak into the coolant system though but check first that you are not overfull, the if you still have coolant coming from the overflow tube check to see if the coolant goes down and keeps going down further and further. Then pressure test your cooling system and check your coolant cap.

SOURCE: a lot of gas coming out of the carb. overflow tube, eng on or off

the float pin is stuck or has some dirt in it. try tapping the side of the float bowl(s) with the handle of a screwdriver... not hard enough to break it. if that doesn't work you will likely have to take the carb apart and clean it.

I have water and steam coming out of my overflow and the motor gets real hot what is wrong

You have a myriad of tubes and connections that may be trapping water flow. The vanes on the impeller inside water pump maybe corroded or worn down, resulting in poor water flow. Or the impeller shaft end is not housed properly or has snapped off, resulting in no water flow.

87 yz125. gas pours straight through carb

change the needle and make sure its jetting right, check the floats if it is operational. '90 to '95 carbs are compatible, so if you are planning a replacement, you may use those

I'm getting a "creamy" oil coming out of the overflow

when oil becomes creamy or foamy it is a sighn that you are getting moisture in it. you must have water leaking into your oil. you should fix the problem soon because your oil will not work properly with an excess if moisture in it.

2003 yz450f seems like im always seeing coolant dripping from the overflow? is this a common problem? where should the fluid level be?

the level should only be about a quater of the way up on the over flow tank (if you have one on it) i dont have one on mine i just always check in the top of the radiator and make sure it is full all the way to the top. it also could be because there is not enough coolant mixture to water. try flushing it out and put a mixture of 75% coolant and 25% water. too much water means more pressure and thats why it could be leaking out. other then that you will get coolant coming out alot if you dont have a overflow tank.
