Put machine in neutral pull the chock all the way out put throttle full open push in brake pedel all the way turn your key switch to start it if it hasnt run in a long time probably need to rebuild the carb if donsnt start try sqiurting some starting in the carb if it starts and dies it means carberator needs rebuilt you try to star it again this time before it dies keep it running with starting fluid just shoot short squirts in carb to keep it running do this for only 2 minutes if you keep doing it you will damage motor try that and see if it will run

SOURCE: Husqvarna, GTH2454T Hydrostatic power loss.

If it's like mine the transmission is sealed and cannot be serviced. A local repair shop told me most likely the problem isn't with the transmission but rather the engine pulley is worn. He said if sand or debris gets between the belt and the pulley which has a definite "V" shape to it that it will wear down to a "U" shape. Now mine has a foot clutch on the left side so he had me pull back on the pedal which manually tightens the belt. I did this and it works like a champ. This winter I'll change the pulley.

Need owner Manuel for HU 725AWD/BBC

Husqvarna has links to the manuals for the HU725AWD/BBC on the product page, http://www.husqvarna.com/us/products/lawn-mowers/hu725awd-bbc/961450018/ . Click on the Manuals button on the right side of the page. The list has several versions of this mower so you need to check your mower to find the correct manual. The direct link to the 2015-01 operator's manual is http://www.husqvarna.com/us/products/lawn-mowers/hu725awd-bbc/961450018/http://www.husqvarna.com/ddocdownload/HUSO%2FHUSO2015_NAenNAes%2FHUSO2015_NAenNAes_HU725AWDBBC_115636449R2.pdf . There are also two different mowers labeled 2014-01 and one 2014-03 and 2014-12 from this link. If you look at the manuals available here, http://www.husqvarna.com/us/support/manuals-downloads/ , a 2013-11 model is also listed.

I hope this helps.

I have a 5521 R husqvarna walk behind mower. I have taken off the carburetor to clean it out since someone didn't winterize the mower and I am having difficulty putting it back together. Basically

If it is the plate I think you are talking about, it will go between the carb and the engine. It is a heat shield of sorts so sits behind the carb

How do you pull the blade mount piece off the motor shaft in order to change the pully? this is on a husqvarna 5521 walk behind mower

The blade holder can be a tight fit on the crankshaft, insert the blade bolt half way and use a two leg puller to drag it off, there is nothing ese holding it other than being tight on the shaft.

I think I may have gotten some water in the engine after last use. There is oil on the floor of the garage after I used the mower last. The mower will not crank. What should I do? Thanks

I think that your problem is with water in your gas. Remove the rubber line that goes to your carburator and drain into a clear container , if there is water in your gas you will see it. Next if you have a bowl under your carburator, loosen the bolt and empty the bowl. Replace every thing you remove and fill tank with fresh gas. Oh, also change the oil while your doing all this fine maintanence, it won't hurt.
You can do it. GOOD LUCK.
