Question about 2000 Harley Davidson FLHR-FLHRI Road king
Failing ignition module will cause this. Gets hot and shuts down. Check this at home by using a hair dryer. Heat up the module with dryer and start bike. If it won't start or shuts down sooner than normal, it's the module. If you have to replace it, get a Screamin Eagle or aftermarket adjustable module. They are much better and you can adjust rev limiter, timing, etc.
