Not posting a solution, so please dont give me a crappy rating, but I have the same car. Traviling it ran on all four cylinders but would hiccup as you said, changed plugs and wires as i had over 100,000 miles and she smoothed right out. If its just hiccuping and not bogging out you might try this. It involves pulling the upper intake to change the center 2 plugs, but its not that bad of a job. I now have 137000 miles on mine and dont believe the fuel filter has ever been changed. But i probably should so i will look up its location next time i go to my shop and let you know if no one else has yet.

FUEL PUMP IS LOCATED IN FUEL TANK..FILTER IS LOCATED ON TOP OF PUMP MODULE..A NEW PUMP WILL NORMALLY COME WITH THIS FILTER..YOU MUST REMOVE FUEL TANK FROM VEHICLE TO REPLACE THESE COMPONENTS..IF YOUR NOT SURE YOU CAN DO THIS,I WOULD TALK TO A REPAIR SHOP..FUEL CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS
