1993 ultra classic went from starting perfectly to

1993 ultra classic went from starting perfectly when I touch the starter button to nothing. No click buzznothing completely dead. The dash lights, oil and neutral light all work but the headlights won't come on when I turn on the ignition switch. if I put a jumper wire across the starter it will work but won't hit??? It acts like there is no fire going to the coil.Unless the kill switch has gone bad that is not the problem b/c I checked that, and I could be mistaken but I don't think that would keep the headlights from coming on..
Is there a fuse or relay that would cause this?

Under your seat you will have your main systen breaker. If this relay goes out it will present the symptoms you are having. It will not allow current to the ignition circuit of your bike.

2001 Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic will not turn over

Hi, Danny great talking to you on 6ya, before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter have failed or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. Faulty ignition relay.
14. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
15. Check for engine trouble codes.

I have a 2014 Electra glide ultra classic. won't start. Starter makes a "click, click, click" sound. Took to HD mechanics and replaced starter plunger. 5 rides later, same problem. Anyone? Thanks!

I would check the grounding of the Starter and make sure the Hot wire to the starter is in good shape. Sounds like you are not getting enough Amperage to the starter

When you push the start button nothing happens it has power going to the starter relay from the switch

Now, you need to check to see if power is going from the starter relay to the solenoid of the starter. Look on the end of the starter just above the 5-sided plate on the end of the solenoid and you'll see a single wire plugged onto the starter. Unplug this wire and connect either a volt meter or test light to the wire. Turn the ignition switch on and press the start button. You should have battery voltage at this wire when you press the button. If not, the relay needs to be replaced. If you do have voltage to this point and the starter does nothing, something is wrong with the starter.

Good Luck

1983 Honda Nighthawk 650 stopped starting

Sounds like the starter solenoid went bad. Turn the key on, Make sure it in N. Take a screwdriver and jump the terminals on the solenoid and see if it turns the starter over and starts the bike. If it does then the solenoid needs replaced.
