Check the indicator relay,if it is faulty replace it with a transistorized one(these are not current dependent)and will flash irespective of bulb wattage

Trouble codes

You may just have a stray fault, try to clear it and see if it returns: Key ON, Key OFF, Key ON, hit left turn signal 2 times wait for 2 flashes,,, hit right turn switch ONCE =>One Flash. Hit Right switch once =>2 flashes, Hit right turn switch once again =>3 flashes. Hit Left turn switch once than read codes to clear Hit left switch & hold for confirmation 2 flashes (hold at least 5 seconds).

If the code comes up again you've got a poor ground issue somewhere.

The turn signals on my 2000 harley heritage will not flash off and on.At first the turn signals would flash but would not cancel by them self and now they will not do anything

Your turn signal module has failed or has a weak electrical connection. Disconnect, clean, and reconnect the 12 pin connector. If this doesn't correct the problem, replace the turn signal module.

Flashes turn signals 3 times quickly, will not turn over. can start by manually ingaging the starter solinoid

Sounds like alarm problem.Don't know why it starts cause anti theft part of system should shut down injectors?Anyway I think the 3 flashes tells you the system is armed so engine won't turn over.If you have remote key use that instead of key to shut off alarm after the flashing.NO go then wire around it and try starter.

I bought a running light kit for my 06 Heritage. When i connect the harness my turn signals do not work properly. when i engage the right turn signal to turn it off the light stays lit on the console. When...

The wiring harness on the new unit is wired wrong, or you have connected it wrong. If it is a plug and play design, they made it on a friday night at 5:30. lol Check wire to wire color code. If they dont match, switch wires in the connector to make them match. If you can not do that, use a bench test battery and see which wire lights up what. Make a wire diagram of your bike and one for your running lights. See which wires are not matched. Match and test. Should work. Chaz Moto DC

1993 Heritage Softail Classic motorcycle. Front

First, I'd try replacing the bulbs in both the front and rear turn signals. See what happens, that's pretty inexpensive to try.

The turn signals are controlled by the turn signal cancelling unit. You didn't mention if the problem was on just one side or if it was on both sides of the bike. I'd try to find someone that had a known good unit that would allow me to try it. The reason, they're expensive. The last one I installed cost nearly $150.
