Get it De-Coked. When a 2 stroke runs, it burns the oil and this causes a build up of tar and carbon in the exhaust and around the inside of the combustion chamber. This leads to a decrease in performance especially after the use of a learner. This would also give the white smoke and spluttering. Take it to a bike shop or buy a manual and try it yourself. It is a simple job. Good luck.

sounds like either the belt has snapped or the springs/rollers have mishapened


take the right hand engine case off leaving the kickstart lever bolted to the shaft and you will see a clutch at the back of the engine and a variator at the front,take the variator off by undoing the nut on the crankshaft and the belt will come off then replace it with the new one and reverse the procedure i would suggest using some loctite on the nut and crank as the have a habit off falling off

if its the springs/rollers then it will need to go in to a garage to have them replaced
