My speedo RS125 2007 has been broken for a few

What is make model and year and when you say no rear lights do you mean no brake and flashers also without more info im gonna say blown fuses bad switch or broken wires

hi the speed sensor will be located above the drive shaft on the driver side on a right hand drive , it goes into the differential on the gearbox .

Ken Budd's answer is incorrect: There is only a potential engine problem when the oil light comes on permanently.

The speedo/mileometer on thge Majesty normally sends pulses to a counter that switches on the oil-change warning light at 3,000 km. If the speedo/mileometer ceases to function the oil-change warning light blinks steadily simply to let you know the pulses aren't getting sent to the counter.
The most likely problem is a broken speedo cable; a new one costs £5.72 from AJSutton and you can easily fit it yourself: Take off the windscreen then reach through the gap above the headlamp to unscrew the outer cable beneath the speedo.

I've got the same problem as you right at the moment with my 1996 Majesty but in my case its the gear unit on the front axle (to which the speedo cable connects) that has stopped working: I'm currently on the look out for a new gear unit. Does anybody have one ?

no, it wont, mess any thing up there, but it will throw your speedo off about5 to 7 km an hour.(says ur doing 50, when you will actually be doing 55-57 km an hour

The gear on the odometer is stripped. Quite the common problem with Audi's of this vintage. Parts available at: http://speedometergears.com/

To fix, you have to pull the gauge cluster, remove the speedo from the cluster, then remove the odometer from the speedo. The gear replacement is pretty easy once you get it all apart.

I've looked every where and I am unable to buy these transistors unless I want to buy 200 of them, what a joke, there are 3 options for these boards:
1. Buy 200 of these transistors
2. JVC sell a new version of this board for £50
3. Buy a fault TV on Ebay and take the parts from that.

I'm gonna go for option 3 then I will have loads of spare parts for any future problems.

speedo went to zero km, indicators in dash work opposite, taco isn't working either.
