1999 Kawasaki ZX-9R Ninja will not turn over

Hi, Lamond before testing any electrical component in the Starting Circuit it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Engine Run Switch is "FAULTY" or corroded.
4. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
5. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
6. FOB battery low or dead.
7. Faulty ignition switch.
8. Faulty starter button.
9. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
10. Security alarm needs a reset.
11. Starter relay, solenoid, starter motor or circuit wiring faulty.
12. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
13. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
14. Faulty ignition relay.
15. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
16. Check for engine trouble codes.

2000 vulcan 1500 ignition light not working

Take the cables loose from the battery. Clean the cables. Might need a wire brush. Reconnect.

While riding bike it cut out and the ignition wont light up even after turning it on and off.

Follow the positive battery cable to the starter solenoid. On top of the solenoid is the main fuse for the motorcycle. Pull out the fuse and check it . Normally when everything shuts off the way you describe the problem is just a blown fuse. There should be a spare fuse stored right there or in the main fuse box. Be sure and buy some spare fuses to replace the blown one at at auto store or the local dealer. If you do not have a spare purchase some and carry them in your tool kit.

My 2000 zx9r fired when cold then stopped and then i lost all electrical power but it isnt fuses

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Assuming you have checked the 30 Amps main fuse integrated with the starter relay, then the most likely suspect would be the ignition switch. Check with a testlight presence / absence of +12 on the white wire from the starter relay to the ignition switch. From the ignition switch all wires would be carrying  +12 depending on the key position.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

Bike wont Start.

You can accidentally UNPLUG the tip sensor if you remove/jar the front fairing. Verify that it is plugged in. If you uninstalled the tip sensor, make sure it is installed in the correct position. Here's the service manual next steps after that check: First thing the SM states when you turn the key and get no fuel pump "noise" is to inspect the fuel pump by measuring the voltage between the terminals. If there is battery voltage, check the main fuse (20A), sub fuse (10A), engine stop switch, fuel cutoff relay (relay box under left middle cowl), engine stop relay, bank angle sensor, and finally, ECM.

1991 toyota pickup lost fuse panel cover

1 - Radio 7.5A , Wiper 20A , Engine 10A , Next row up - cig lighter 15A , Gauges 10A , Ignition 7.5A , Next row up Turn 10A , Stop 10A , Tail lights 10A , Next row up Defog 15A.

However if you just want to install a CB find an ignition live under the bonnet and run it from there with an inline fuse or direct from the battery using the same. You will not flatten the battery as if the CB is off it draws no power. Another option is to piggy back the ignition live from the radio cassette !.
