Question about 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 1000

Bulb good, fuses good, lights won't come on

I checked fuses and bulbs with a multimeter and they are still good but the headlights will not switch on, with engine on one headlight receiving .5v

Check your left hand control switch for normal operation and your high beams relay and the harness for shortcuts.Assuming that your battery and charging circuit are ok.

Hi, Anonymous if your headlight is not working, keeps burning out or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
3. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
4. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
5. Faulty ignition switch.
6. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.

2005 1700 warrior has no power to headlight or dimmer fuse good, new light


Hi, Warren if your headlight is not working, only one beam works, keeps burning out, blinking, or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, then check your head light bulb socket ground wire for a clean tight connection, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn down solder contacts or loose fit of the bulb base in the socket due to vibration.
3. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
4. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
5. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
8. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
9. Weak charging alternator/generator.
10. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier ground or overcharging.

Have 2007 Chevy Colorado headlights won't come on


First you have to make sure the bulbs are good, if they are check out good, you need to check the fuses and switch.

I have a 2005 yamaha yzf r1 and it says the brights are on but the headlights won't come on. I have checked the fuse and changed the bulbs and they still won't work.

Headlite don't work. I replaced the bulb but didn't help.

2001 yamaha R1... head lights not working low beam or high beam....replaced bulbs and fuses and check the switch and all is good plus check power to fuse and all was ok,,,no power at head lights... I can...

My headlight wont work


If it is only one bulb out... get a new bulb or use the other bulb to check it. if it is both lights... you will have to use a multimeter and check for current at the bulb harness, headlight relay, switch. if it has pwer going in but none going out you found your broken part.
