If the choke is cable operated then the choke is on when up, pull back the air cleaner rubber from the back of the carb, look inside toward the engine, operate the choke up and down, the choke is on when the flap is closing off the back of the carb, restricting air flow
Run a hotter plug and change out your exhaust, in doing so you will need to adjust your fuel a little richer or a little less. New chain, proper air preassure in the tires and always keep your air filter clean
Once up on a time, there was an external adjustment on Honda. It was a 10 mm or so nut locking a flat blade screw head. Loosen the nut, snug the screw and then back off 1/4 turn.
