Question about kawasaki Ninja 250R Motorcycles

2 Answers

My daughter dropped her 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250r. Other than a few scratches I had to buy a replacement mirror for the left side from a local dealer. Looking at the bike the bolts that hold the mirror assembly is behind the black plastic behind the cowl. What do I need to remove to replace the mirror. I just did not want to start removing screws.

Do what you have to do, Keep all your screws in a bowl or jar so you will know when you have them all back in. Look at each screw you take out and you will have a mental picture for reassembly. Don't take anything apart and walk away from it. It won't tske long if you stay with it until it's fully reassembled.. Good luck

The mirror should just screw down into the top unless you broke the housing than you need to pull off frt cover to get to those bolts to remove

Hi Vinnyv75, for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Good luck and have a nice day. 2008 Kawasaki Motorcycle Service Repair Workshop Manuals

Every wire is unplugged on my kawasaki ninja X7

May I suggest a trip to your local library. Cycle repair books should be in 646 stacks of reference. Otherwise, go to your Kaw dealer and pay their price for one that covers your bike. You'll still pay less than if you paid them to rewire it...and you'll learn something.

250 ninja dropped on right side at 0mph. signal broken and scratches around signal. how much to repair?

Go to Powersportseast.com and look up your bike on the Parts Fische. It will give prices and you can order thru them if you want. Signals are the cheap part by a long shot! I have been rebuilding a Salvage 08 250 ninja and have had to replace A LOT on it. The plastics alone are around 250-350. If it is really bad on the plastic try Ebay and wait till you find exactly what you need. The signal is around 40 bucks give or take
