Hi I hv a daewoo lanos 1.8 8valve the car don't missfire but don't want to pull

First thing to check would be transmission fluid. If it revs up in park fine and idles and moves fine but just doesn't seem to want to go good with out really revving it then you might have a blocked up Catalytic Converter.

I can't get my Chevy sm 400 to rev past 2,400 rpm.

you didn't say if it starts and runs fine and idles fine. Check the throttle cable/linkage to make sure it has full free travel. Check the firing order and make sure all wires go to correct cylinder. Make sure you have good gas, no water in it etc. Contact the rebuilder for ideas, before you do damage.

I have a 125 pit bike and it ticks over fine but when you rev it it backfires does any body no how to fix it.

You can check ur values but some bike do make a we ticking from the values and it will back fire when revved up because of the extra fuel once revved that hasn't brine burn as it revs back down to idle speed.

Idles but will not rev up over to 2 grand and back fires thru the air filter, but idles just fine

Check your ignition timing; sounds a lot like it.
This can be caused by a failed crankshaft position sensor if your car uses one.

IT IDLES HIGH AN WONT REV UP

Change all the filters (fuel and air). check and see if all your spark plugs are firing or just change them. if it is fuel injected make sure your injectors are working. Hope something there helps get it running good.

rx7`s should rev to 3000 when started cold then it should settle to 750 to 1000 after about 30 to 60 seconds.
mine suffers a similar problem. so far I have been told various answers, mostly involving the bac valve, lambda sensor, air flow meter, etc. try starting of by adjusting the idle adjust screw (on top of the throttle body under plastic cover) this may be all it is. I have not had time to do mine. Its been fine otherwise and idles fine after a few minutes. mine is non turbo 87.
