Pull a spark plug and see what models it fits to narrow the field.
Then take to bike shop with your results somebody will have a good idea and be able to tell what features came on which bike.
Another indicator is the exhaust. They are unique for most models of the same manufacturers

What are the different resistances on exercise bikes?

There are three main types of resistances, the fan resistance used to provide resistance with air they push as you pedal. The second type is the belt resistance which uses a belt that runs through a brake providing resistance for the exercise bikes. The third type is the magnetic exercise bike which provides resistance which can easily be adjusted while riding the bike.

When changing from cable to hydraulic on my custom bike , do i need to change the open primary .

I assume that you're talking about changing the clutch release mechanism from a cable type operation to a hydraulic type of operation. Since you're talking about an open primary, you bike would have to be a Big Twin as well. The answer is probably "NO, you won't have to change your open primary". Although I have never worked on hydraulic clutch release on a Harley, I have worked on the cable type clutch release mechanism. The mechanism is on the other side of the transmission from the clutch. You should be able to find a custom replacement end for the transmission that is designed to use a hydraulic cylinder instead of the mechanical "ball & ramp" type release mechanism that the bikes come with. The changes you'll be making should be on the right side of the bike, not the left.

Good Luck

I have bought a second hand ladies Milazo 24" 18 speed and want a manual for it, based in Auckland New Zealand

For the most part, all bikes are the same. That is to say, any manual for a similar style bike will work. The only exceptions will be based on the differrence in components, which can be found on manufacturer's websites for maintenance info. That said, here is a link to a website that gives tuning and repair information for bikes in general. Park Tool has very easy to follow instructions and good images for all types of bikes and all types of repair. Please use their wealth of information for anything you want to know about adjusting, servicing or repairing your bike.

i hope this is helpful-
