I have a jazzy 1107 power wheel chair the back wheels are leaned outward i dont think the back wheels should be leaned outward i think this is what is causing me not be able to be able to turn properly....

Have some one check out that the section has not become loose or broken. IF the wheel rubbers are damaged then you will have trouble regardless of what you do. I consider it paramount that the chair is in top condition for your needs. Have the manufacturer's service agent fix it for you.

I've got all the wheel nuts incl locking nut off my Golf back wheel, but can't get the wheel off, what am I doing wrong?

At a guess, you've got alloy wheels, assuming so, this is a common problem.

1) Make sure its on an axle stand, not just a scissor jack, and give the inside of the wheel a good old whack with a mallet, if you don't have a rubber hammer/mallet. Hold a piece of wood against the wheel and hit that.

or

2) Put the wheel nuts back on, just finger tight, then roll the car backwards and forwards, with luck the weight of the car should do the work for you.

When you put you wheel back on, put some copper grease on the hub to stop it sticking again.

When pushing my quinny the back wheel starts to come of byitself

Hi Lisa - It could be that if there is dirt and debris on the wheel axel or inside the connection it would prevent the wheel clicking in properly. Remove both back wheels and give a wash in warm soapy water then dry thoroughly before putting back into place. Does the same side wheel fall off even if you swap the back wheels over? If this is the case it would indicate a chassis problem rather than a wheel problem. If it is the same wheel that always falls off it would suggest a wheel problem. Took chain off to remove wheel and am unable to get chain back on correctly. 2001 Magna oasis 26" 7 digit shifting speed. Unablew to locate manual...can you help?

Put the chain to the inside of the front cog wheel, beside the pedals, first but not onto it, so you have plenty of room for pulling the chain to the rear. Fit the wheel back into place and before tightening it pull down the spring loaded arm, with the small cog wheel beside the back wheel. This takes the tension off the chain and allows you to put it into place on the back wheel. Tighten up the wheel. When it's tightened fit the chain onto the top of the front cog wheel. Lift the back wheel off the ground and turn the pedals forward. The chain will click onto the front cog wheel when you have turned the pedals one complete turn.

If you need to see a picture of how it should look at the back you can see one at http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/bik/2409696114.html

How do you ajust rear wheel so it is alignedright?

1.loosen the bolts on either side of the bike at the rear of the frame. this is what allows the back wheel to be adjusted. aka wheel adjusters.

2.next loosen the wheel itself.

3.pull the wheel back until there is just a tiny bit of slack in the chain.

4.next tighten those wheel adjusters on either side of the wheel. To get the wheel dead centered count the threads visable and make them the same on both sides.

5.tighten the wheel back up as you pull it back against the wheel adjusters.

good luck and safe riding
