Replace the clutch. That's the obvious solution, did you have information about the problem that indicates otherwise?

Kawasaki nomad 1500 fifth gear slipping

Next time you lay the bike up, try and prop it upright. When it is leaning over the oil sits to one side, and as far as I can tell the clutch is sat in oil if left for too long in this position. Clutch friction plates are absorbent but it take a while to soak in. If you can find a way to remove the lubricant from the friction plates you may save the clutch. But you will have to dismantle the clutch anyway, so it is just as easy to replace the friction plates.

My 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 is struggling in fifth gear, and intermittently tachs high at speeds over 55mph.

If the bike is reving high in top gear but you are not gaining speed or very little speed your clutch is slipping. This is a sign the clutch needs replaced.

My Audi A4, will not allow me to put car in gear with clutch depressed and engine running If I switch of engine I can engage gears easily. If I place in reverse and switch on engine with clutch down the...

moselecm, Audi's transmissions are known for very late clutch engagement, so that part is normal - they're built that way and are not adjustable. To be sure it is really slipping due to wear and not just unfamiliarity, put the car in fifth gear at about 30mph and FLOOR the gas. If it's going to slip, that's when it will slip.

As for the fluid, it shares a reservoir with the brake fluid reservoir - take a look there at the fluid - what you see in there will be the condition that both the brakes and clutch are operating under.
