But the answer to your orginal question is
Torque to this setting. Axle Nut: 96 Ft/Lbs - Apply threadlock to the last five axle shaft joint threads before installing the nut.Flange Bolts: N/A.Wheel Studs: 100 Ft/Lbs.
SOURCE: 1986 ford f150 front axle
I believe its 50 ft/lbs for the nut and the lock nut. If you're talking about a 4x4, if it's a 2wd and you mean the spindle nut, then I'll have to get back to you. Cheers.
SOURCE: main and rod bearing torque specs
do you have a Haynes Manual or Chilton? if not check your local library, they may have one, the specs are in there
SOURCE: what is the torque specs for the front wheel
Ford Front wheel bearings do have a torque spec. It is all over the new part to torque to MFR spec or damage will occur.
I have no idea what that spec is though.
SOURCE: HOW TO FIX A FRONT HUB BEARING
go to the bone yard and buy the side that you need have new bearings pressed into it and then slowly disassemble the hub and replace with newly refurbished hub. be sure to mark your seams and threads with some spray paint so that you know where the original settings were at. had to do mine twice because I didn't press new bearings into the knuckle i bought at the bone yard.
