Question about 1970 Yamaha XS1
My son has a Tahiti 150cc gas motor scooter that is said uses alot of Yahama parts. I suspect that the throttle cable came loose in the throttle grip assembly. How do I gain access to the cable?
There should be a screw oneither side of the throttle housing undo these two screws and the housing will come apart, exsposing the cable and cable end,if the end has come off you will need to get a new cable, they are quite easy to install and should be able to be done with minimal tools 10mm spanner ,phillips screwdriver, hope this helps...cheers
