Question about 1970 Yamaha XS1
I suspect that the throttle cable on my sons 150cc gas scooter has disconnected inside the throttle grip assembly, this is on a Tahiti MC-203B Yamaha knock off
Unscrew the top of the carburator and see if the spring is compressed when turning the throttle. If this has been done, you can reattach if not broken, if so replace cable. You might check that the throttle was replaced into the carburator the proper way, it can be 180 degrees out.
