You have one running lean by the sounds of it. Without more information it will be nearly impossible to diagnose, but the obvious question - what changed?

Polaris sportsman 500 HO shows hot check engin? what must i do

check your timing advance. It may be advanced a little too much. If that is okay, then make sure your spark plug is the proper one and not a sub. Most ATV's use DENSO plugs and these seem to work the best. (Having a spark with a higher heat range will cause the overheat condition). The other thing is your mixture... you may be running a tad rich.. lean it up 1/8 of a turn. Finally, remove the exhaust pipe and see if they is carbon build-up at the exhaust port... lean it over and remove all you can, careful not to allow any to fall into the engine. (Blocking the exhaust will cause a dramatic temperature increase.)

Why is the water running out of my water heater slowly?

If you take your pipe off the hot side of the water heater, there is a check valve in the pipe that is stubbed up. They vary in style, usually it is like a marble and it gets stuck. It is easier to replace the stub with a brass nipple and put the dielectric fitting back on it.

Water dripping from exhaust pipe and running rough when at idle

Water dripping from the exhaust pipe is normal in cold weather until the exhaust system warms up--the water is condensation from the hot gasses meeting the cold (cooler) metal of the exhaust system.

Running rough? there are many causes, timing being one.

Where is the catalytic converter located in a 94 chevy corsica?

From the engine, you have manifolds coming out the side of the engine. It will probably look a little rusty. The manifold is the first part of the exhaust system. After the manifold, you will have pipe running below the car. the pipe is bolted to the manifold. After the pipe there will be a larger portion of the exhaust. Kind of an oval shape pipe. Probably roughly 12" long. The catalytic converter gets VERY hot, so let the car cool completely before touching.

It could very well be a leaky exhaust system. Today's exhaust systems are made up of various pieces that interconnect to each other. Some of the connections have gaskets, others don't. Most of the time when you've got a leaky exhaust system, you'll also start getting a popping noise out the pipe when you back off the throttle at high speed. Go around and tighten everything up and check for leaks for passing your hand around each connection with the engine running. Don't burn yourself. Keep in mind that the exhaust system expands when it gets hot and it might not leak cold but start when it gets hot.

Briggs and stratton lawnmower engin the exhaust gets red hot

Sounds like it is running too rich on fuel. Try resetting the carb adjustment screws. Turn them in until it starts to stall and them turn the screw back out 1/4 turn. It may also be a partially clogged muffler or the screen on top of the engine may be clogged. In rare instances it may need the valves adjusted.

I have a v star 650 when i start it the top pipe gets red hot sounds like it running on 1 cylnder help

red pipe is an indicator that the cylinder is getting too much fuel. The fuel is actually burning up in the exhaust pipe. I would hope it is something simple like a vaccum hose came off, but I would try spraying starting fluid around the carb while it is running(still cold though). If the engine revs up, it has an air leak somewhere. Hope this helps...
