Hi
Plz check your avi video cable socket (YELLOW IN COLOUR) - change the avi cables
If HDMI - unplug & Re-plug your HDMI Socket.
If using a HDMI Converter box - check whether the converter box is getting overheated - if so, buy a branded one (BELKIN is Preferable) & use the cables given in the pack. DONT USE THE OLD ONE

Hi,
There is a power fault with one of the PCB's inside, contact Sony if you are still in warranty, if not contact a Sony service center as it will need an engineer to open it up to repair it.
Thanks

In most cases is the screen is covered with vertical lines all the way accross the screen then the T-Con module is at fault. The t-con board is replaceable without having to replace the entire LCD panel which would usually make it cheaper than replacing the TV. The part number I come up with is 1-857-213-11. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks...

This is caused by a failing T-con board. There's nothing you can do to fix it - it will only get worse. You must replace the board. Here is one

Power off the television. Wait a few minutes, then power it back on. If this does not correct the issue leave the power on, point your remote control towards the Sony television and hold the down arrow button. While holding the down arrow button press the "Power" button. Release the down arrow button and the Sony TV will reset itself to factory settings. Once the television performs a scan on itself your problem should be gone.
