How do I replace the front turn signal assembly on a 2001 kia sportage. The original fell out and crashed against the car, so it's completely gone. I have the replacement part which came with a wire

Original gone. Replacement part came with a wire part: spring/hook @ one end and o ring at the other. Where/how does that go?

SOURCE: 01 kia sportage 4-wheel drive issues

I have the same problems but found the problem. Put a vacuum pump on the hub and see if there is any. I have one that has 30 inches of vacuum and one with zero. The only solution I found was to buy a used one from a salvage yard. The hand vacuum pump is only $40 but you will save over a $1000 doing this.

SOURCE: Timing belt replacement for 2001 Kia Sephia

For California models recommended at 105,000 miles.Belt needs to be inspected at 60,000 and 90,000, miles and replace at 105,000 miles.
Except California replace at 60,000 miles. Note 1.8L engine is a interference engine, if timing belt goes bad will cause major internal engine damage.

When the engine warms up it should be fine.
Check that you are using the proper oil. Also check if there is a winter oil recommended. Sometimes winter oil is a bit lighter weight and can help keep the ticking noise down or gone all together.

Where is the speed sensor on a 2001 kia sportage located?

The speed sensors are a single pole, variable reluctance sensor, mounted to the rear axle housing and both front half shafts.

A toothed tone ring is press fit to the differential carrier next to the drive gear and provides the signal for the rear sensor.
