BUY A testmeter from ebay 7 quid, run bike and check output, no more than 14 ish volts put dial to 20 anti clock wise, also feel the resin on the back of the unit, if all bubbled a sign it is shagged. test with meter pins on the battery terminals,

Visually check your battery for any acid build up. If you spot any, obviously some acid remove would be called for. Acid can sap a battery's output to a starter.

Visually inspect fuel components. Fuel injectors on bikes tend to get clogged when they sit for a while. Especially on older models. Refer to a repair guide for your specific model for guidance on the procedure to inspect fuel injectors.

Hi, Try replacing the sparkplugs with new ones and make sure it has the right gap. You can get them at your local motorbike shops. If the plugs are bad the bike will run poorly and sluggish. Good luck.

The biggest difference is that the 2007 GSXR 600 has fuel injection instead of carbs. The FI symbol will alert you that the sensors on the Fuel Injection system have found a problem. When that happens, a dealer will be needed to hook up a code reader to see what the problem is. A dirty air filter is something you can fix. A fuel mapping problem is for the dealer to fix. Minor FI problems still let the bike run. Major problems shut down the fuel system so the engine will not even start. Other than that, just be sure the bike shifts smooth and easy and that all electrics and brakes work properly. How old is the battery? How much life is left in the chain? need to get it pluged in at suzuki dealers...to tel you code & what you need to fix it

there is a plug under your seat with 2 wires that you need to short out. The fI code is a dealer code like a check engine light on your car. You need the actual problem code. turn the bike on and keep it running short out the two wires in a white harness under your seat and then the f1 will change to a C## code.

The display is really FI as in Fuel Injection. The fuel injection computer has sensed a fault in the Injection system. You will need to ride the bike to a dealer and have them read the fault codes. It is probably just something minor. Major faults will not allow the bike to run. You will not hurt the bike if you ride it.

c28 is the code for a problem with the secondary throttle valve actuator

stva controls secondary butterflys, nothing really major to worry about, until it dies. It has some bad solder points on it which work loose, and have to be re soldered. It is covered un a warrenty for up to 5 years, and 18,xxx miles or something i bellieve. Other wise no real major problems, just the normal wear and tear, and way previous owners have treated the bike
