    Please go into detail about the "cuts out".

    So, I need to know EFI, or carb, ignition style, single or twin fire? Describe the cutting out, exactly, is it predictable? Does anything help it, like goosing the gas? Is the cut out analog or digital, meaning essentially kind of smooth, or does one or both cylinders cut out sharply. What gets it going again?

    Good weather or bad? what rpms? Idles fine? What kind of load? Any other symptoms? Any work just done? When last time serviced? How many miles on it? What year and model?

Hi Dougm49, and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or damaged battery.
2. Loose, corroded or broken battery cable.
3. Alternator not charging or below normal rates.
4. Failed ignition coil, ignition/electronic module.
5. Failed CKP, CPS, CMP, MAP, TPS, or BAS sensor.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Water or dirt in fuel system, carburetor or filter.
8. Fuel tank vent system plugged or gas cap not venting.
9. Fuel tank empty.
10. Fuel valve vacuum line broken or carburator vent line closed off.
11. Restricted, blocked or kinked fuel line.
12. Failed fuel pump, pressure regulator and or fuel injectors.

My riding mower stops moving forward after 30 minutes of cutting it starts right up the blades engage properly and cuts great it will just stop moving


Check under the seat under the battery box there you should find the drive pulleys for the rear end the belt could be worn out and turned inside out causing it to slip or stop pulling once it heats up mine was installed inside out from Lowes when I purchased the mower causing me to replace the belt hope this helps

Vuka rm 125 starts, idles fine - when start riding, it feels like it runs out of petrol and cuts out.


check your choke lever it must be downwards check under your fuel tape their is a small filer

I have a briggs & stratton riding lawnmower it cuts for about 30min, then cuts off and wont start untilit cools off


Slacken off the filler cap when it starts to die, if it picks up again then it could be a blocked tank breather, it could also be an ignition coil breaking down with the heat

Check your air cleaner...then check fuel line from pump. Pull fuel line off carb make sure fuel is present. :)

sounds like the float in the carb might be sticking stopping any more fuel getting through to the engine

Cuts out and stops sometimes after 30 min. or so


check your fuel delivery system. It sounds like a blocked filter, failing pump or a restriction in the fuel line.
