I have a Dunlop MH90-21 54H 402F Series on my Springer. Was wondering if I could put a Dunlop MH90-21 56H 402F series tire on in it's place?

How does rplacing 255/60R17 with 255/65R17 affect performance on the road

As sizes ,the 65 series is a thinner tire as a 60 series .the lower the series # the wider the tire??one advantage with thinner tires is better gas mileage !less rubber making contact with the road

Rear brake locks the tyre up easily even at lower speeds not had this problem on my other harley what could be the problem

your rear tire. I changed from a Dunlop tire to a Metzler tire and I have the same problem now. Not only does it lock up easily but it makes no noise either. You won't notice it until the back end starts to drift. Not good. You may can lower the air pressure on your rear tire.

Good Luck

Best tires for 1982 GL1100?

Dunlop Elite II tire will give you the best mileage and handling If they are still available in your size. MY friends BMW K75rt and my GL1000 both got 40,000 miles before we needed replacement. Before that I got 50,000 out of a pair of Dunlop Tour Elites on a CX500 Honda. I sold that bike with the tires still on it and they looked OK.Unfortunately , I have no experience with the Dunlop Elite III, other than hearing many noise complaints.

Jackpot tires problem

If your Jackpot has a Dunlop Cruisemax on the front that's the problem. The first two Cruisemax's on the front of my Vegas had to be replaced at 6000 miles. The third tire was a Dunlop 90/90 Elite 3, that tire lasted 12,000 miles

but im trying to make my money last haha also want to see what you guys think of 180/55 compared to 190/55 -thanks guysSome of the pilot power series are dual compound. Do note that its not a direct tradeoff between grip and tire life. For example an Avon Storms (my favorite) both stick much better and last much longer than a D207. For that matter bits of twine tied around the rim would probably outperform D207's,
