Yes it is possible. buy yourself a can of WD40 (penetrating oil)... spray all electrical parts and wiring you can see with that. it will repel the water but it does not conduct electricity. also buy a bottle of gas line antifreeze and put half of it in your fuel tank. it sucks up any water you may have in your fuel (petrol)

Water In My Trunk

Hi Gregory:
2 issues:
1) water getting in
2)Water not getting out.

1) Water is not supposed to get in so you need to track down the leak. Check rubber around trunk lid, rear window seal.
2) Trunk is not intended to contain water, even on a temporary basis, so drain holes are not normally installed.

Fix the leak and you won't need to have drain holes.

Water in front drives foot well transit connect

Unless you have driven through deep water or the vehicle has leaked from torrential rain I would suggest that your heater core up under the dash or the hoses to it are leaking.
Depending on the situation you would have it repaired or replaced or by pass or block the hoses so it can be driven until repairs are carried out. ( Hope it's not too cold there)

What causes my04 sportster starter to drag badly when i go to restart the bike after i have driven about 5 miles

When the bike is warmed up everything is tighter so it is harder to turn it over and the starter needs to draw more amperage so if you battery is weak it will not have the ampewrqage needed but also if the starter has defective windings they may fail when hot but not when cold so you will need to do some more testing to see precisely what is the problem.

Toughbook CF-29 computer died

Torrential rain storm left out in it running? I'm sorry to say there is only one thing you can do for this laptop. "Do not turn it on at all again" Take the battery out of it and take it completely apart and use a blow dryer and dry everything out. "Everything" you may already be to late. Board may be shorted out and fried I hate to say it.
So take it apart piece by piece and top case and bottom case and dry it completely out. So that there is nothing wet or moisture is dissipated and gone. That is the only thing you can do to salvage this machine other than a new board, rain and left running in the rain is pretty easy to figure out that you may have ruined your computer leaving it running in the rain. "Lets hope this will work for you" I would be pleased to know if it did solve this matter drying it completely out." Do not power it up again until this is finished. John

Is the PTP 400 Full 5.4 GHz effected by fog and other weather conditions? Have link that goes down in performance in foggy weather.

How far away is your other antenna?

2.4 GHz signals may be attenuated by up to 0.05 dB/km (0.08 dB/mile) by torrential rain (4 inches/hr). Thick fog produces up to 0.02 dB/km (0.03 dB/mile) attenuation. At 5.8 GHz, torrential rain may produce up to 0.5 dB/km (0.8 dB/mile) attenuation, and thick fog up to 0.07 dB/km (0.11 dB/mile). Even though rain itself does not cause major propagation problems, rain will collect on the leaves of trees and will produce attenuation until it evaporates.

My son on holiday on the continent having driven through heavy rain bike has cut out.local yamaha/susuki dealer in switzerland diagnosed a defective battery. Battery changed, alternator checked. Bike still...

yes water got in somewhere, it should not have though , remove any small covers and area where electronics are located. all it takes for an example is a bad cover seal . bikes are made to take a good wetting. what year is the bike? also putting it out in sun to dry will help
