Scooter was dead. I tried charging current battery. It would not charge. Purchased new battery. Installed new battery and tested it for power. Battery has power, but scooter has No Power. Nothing turns on when I put the key in: no lights, horn, turn signals, etc. The fuses under the seat and been checked and are all OK. I suspect the main fuse could be blown. How do I change the main fuse?

Touch a 12" piece of wire to one terminal then touch the other end of the wire to the other terminal. Got a really good spark? No spark = bad battery. Okay, so you do get a good spark. Check the wiring harness for an unplugged wire. Also check for loose connections and burned wires. Bad ignition switch? Kill switch turned on?

Hi I am Vortash common fault with this model bike was the ignition switch a quick test is put a meter across the the battery .. you should read 12 -13volts if the voltage drops when the ignition is switched it's usually is ok but not allways it is just a quick check sometimes it is intermittent now see how far the voltage drops if it is considerable chances are you have a short .. usually the rectifier or the starter feel the battery see if it is getting warm with the ignition on this will also indicate a short .. check for bad earth connections particarly from the battery to the frame.. Check all fuses in this country there was one on the main lead from the battery .. hope this helps regards Vortash
