  1. Remove the left case cover and then remove the flywheel
  2. Drain the oil then remove the right case cover
  3. Remove the clutch
  4. Remove the Drive gear from the crankshaft.
  5. Now use a screwdriver to pry the old seals out.
  6. Smear oil on the interior of the new seals then install new seals flush with the casing
  7. Reassemble and put in fresh oil
  8. A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks

Can I fit a SUZUKI RM 250 Engine into a 2000 RM 125 frame?

Hi, Anthony sounds like something I would try when I was a kid but after careful deliberation 4 out 5 Suzuki Gods give this one a thumbs down, but just to be on the safe side you should give your local dealer's parts/service department a call to confirm it's just not worth the time trouble and expense you would be better off getting a used 250 bike. How do you change water pump seal 98 rm 125 !!???

It should be just that, a leaking seal, gasket. The water pump is external on that bike and doesn't go anywhere but the cooling dept.It doesn't get mixed with oil or anything. Take off the pump itself and replace the gasket. I think that should do it, unless it is the pump itself leaking.

Want to know what parts i need to replace my lower connecting rod bearing on 99 suzuki rm 125 and the best place to get them

Understand that your bike has a pressed crank. A shop will need to press the crank apart then press it back together and align the crank. I suggest you go to Babbitt's for parts.

New crank main bearings are highly recommended.

My 2000 suzuki rm 125 does not shift into 4 and 5

The bike has a bent shift fork (or two). The engine needs to come out of the frame then gets torn down in order to replace the forks. Sorry.

1981 SUZUKI RM 125 ENGINE IS REBUILT BUT WHEN I STARTED IT THERE IS CASE OIL COMING OUT OF THE EXHAUST

Assuming little Johnny did not pour oil in the crank when no one was looking, you must figure that there is a bad seal on the case halves. Did you fail to use a liquid gasket when assembling the case halves? Dirt on a surface? Did you not put in new crank seals?

If able, can you " burn out" Johnny's oil by riding all day? Does more oil get in the crank? If Johnny is not the culprit then the engine will need to be torn down. The need is to find the sealing problem and then fix it.

Please rate this solution. Thanks clarkbd!

1996 rm 125 has clutch problems. The quater inch play does not work, new cable, aftermarket clutch with springs, fibers, steele.

Did you check the main crank drive gear i had a 96 rm 125 with that problem. Its a cheap fix if thats the case but the only problem is that the engine needs to removed and the case needs to be be split. If thats not the problem with the case split it should be ovious.
