I had this problem with the front break, giving it a good going over with a break cleaner seemed to sort it out. I used Muck-Off disk cleaner it done the trick.

Any competant shop should be able to remove disassemble and clean the brake calipers -replacement would be expensive

Why do one side of the brake pad is worn more then the other

To some degree this is normal.
When brake pressure is applied, the inboard pad strikes the rotor first. Then as more pressure is applied, the entire caliper slides so that the outboard pad makes contact. This is a split second difference but over the life of the brakes it can add up.
If you are seeing a difference in wear in only a few months of replacement, something could be sticking.

How to fix the optical engine

Usually they cannot be "fixed" but are exchanged and rebuilding takes place in a controlled environment---seen several techs take them apart and end up having to replace the entire unit anyway.

Some of these Panasonic sets only sell the chassis and no parts.

Brake lights sticking on can't find any way to fix this, Any way to fix this problem?

Most likely the brake light switch under your brake pedal arm. Remove it and test it by clicking it manually, if it sounds like it is engaging and releasing (clicking) test with multimeter set to OHMs. Test leads on each terminal, meter should give a reading when you work the switch manually. If not, replace.

Just replaced rear rotors and brakes on my 2007 ford freestyle. took it to the store for test drive after and everything seemed to be working properly. when I left the store, I started hearing this...

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

I suspect that it's the caliper. It may need to be adjusted since it's new. It may have been set too tight and adjustment is really necessary.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have a Mongoose Blackcomb. When I apply the front disc brake the cable and actuator arm do not retract back to open position. Does the entire front brake need replacing are can this be repaired?

Impossible to tell you with out seeing the brake.

However, the brake can be repaired. I would suggest taking into your local bike shop so they can assess what is causing the sticking brake, it could be a very simple fix, such as adjusting the spring tension, to a more complicated fix that involves replacing broken parts. Some brake systems do not have available replacement parts and in those cases you would have to replace, but that is less common.

If you can, take off your front wheel and prop the bike up so you can see the brake working while you squeeze the lever, see if the pads move in and out. that is the first step to diagnosis. If they don't return, then look for a round adjustment knob on the side of the brake and see if that moves the pads in or out, if that knob does nothing that is most likely your problem.

One brake rotor gets very hot after 30 miles

on the wheel that is hot, jack it up and see it the wheel spins free or drags? if it drags, then loosen bleeder on the caliper, it if now spins free, you want to replace that caliper hose, if it is still dragging, then the caliper piston is stuck and you will need to replace it.

Front brakes sticking mercedes ml320 1998

Your car is still under covered for 3 year warranty, is it not? Anyway, the cylinders inside the caliper needs to be cleaned out. At this time, the brake fluid needs to be flushed out. This is not a wear and tear and the dealer should not charge you as in case of brake pads...Cheers.

Gear stick stuck!

Are you pressing down on the brake padle when you are trying to get it out of park? If that don't work check the fuses & there may be a relay that's may be related to a safty divice to the stick shift. If you don't press the brake padle the stick shift will not release so if you leave the car running a child could not push in gear. The lock silinoid is at the gear console
