It turns over but it wont start
It might not. These older cars didnt do this.
However the engine can stop due to over heating from either alot of friction due to dirty oil as well as if engine oil gets low. Think of engine oil this way, pretend its a butter and you are rubbing your hands back and forth for a period of time. As the butter warms it gets a watery kind of feel so it would have less lubing and more friction right. Imaging oil and butter getting dirty. As oil ages, it gets more of a watery state. Less friction abilities. Dirt acts as a buffing or clotting depending on a few things. Either way heat builds up. The close components need to stay a certain temp so they dont expand and seize up.
Just change oil as much as possible. It will keep the engine alive so its worth repairing. Toyotas are great cars when oil is kept up. :)
I would just give it a fresh oil change and see what happens. Unless there was alot of heat and clanking or clunking you should be good.
Good luck
