Question about 1982 Honda VF 750 S
I have a 1982 Honda VF750. There is no clutch and no pressure in the line when I try to bleed it. I've let it sit overnight and the problem is no better. I rebuilt the master cyclinder and confirmed the line is clear, but still can't get pressure. When I put it in gear, it almost throws me off because the wheel engages immediately. Any suggestions?
Bleed the master cylinder first, fill the resovoir pump the lever a few times and crack the bolt that holds the line to the mastercylinder,do this two or three times or untill all the air is gone from the master cylinder piston assembly, you should then be able to bleed the rest of the line, dont let the fluid get to low when bleeding the line out as you will end up with an air lock in the piston assembly again
