If you're building up vacuum or pressure in the fuel tank, your vent line is pinched or plugged. It is a rubber hose that comes off the fuel tank, usually runs down the right side and discharges vented air out the bottom somewhere.

I have removed my tank on my 2009 z750 and now it will not sit back in position for love nor money!!!! when you line it up with the rubber bungs and tank collers the bottom tank bolt is 3 inches too high...

I can't help you directly as I have not worked on this bike. I will suggest to you, as was suggested to me by a dear friend many hears ago ... he said this: "It was designed to work, to go together. It was together and it has to be able to go back together." Keep working on it after you take a little break. The light will come on and it will fall into place. You will say to yourself," Why did I have any trouble with this?"

How to replace fuel pump on 2006 kawasaki z750

Order the parts diagram/ book from ebay on CD, print out the pages. (repair manual). My friend says all you have to do is remove the gas tank and there it is. You unscrew a few parts. take i out. You have to Drain the gas into a bucket using a piece of silicon tubing (think of draining an aquarium as a kid).

Unplug/ remove the battery.

then you remove the fuel tank. There'll be residual fuel in the connecting lines, drain those too.

Unscrew the fuel pump.

Put the new one in.

I have to do the same thing, but am procrastinating.

wish there's someone else to do it for me. lol.
