It could be just condensation which is normal. Once the motor heats the baffles in the muffler it will go away. If you notice a smell of raw gas...the fuel float could be stuck and leaking. If that is the case you will certainly smell it. If no gas odor is present, you should be fine.
I would check the air filter and then spark plug and then do a carb clean , might also pay to check fuel filters inline and in tank good luck hope you get it sorted
