Right front turn signal not working and bulb and connections ok.

Hi Jbhe, before diagnosing any turn signal issue make sure the bulb is good and the light fuse has continuity with a test light. If no turn signals work the cause could be a faulty turn signal module or the connector going to it, look for corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets. Contact spray cleaner is great for removing corrosion. If your speedometer does not function properly it will have to be fixed first because your turn signal module gets the data from the speedometer for normal turn signal function. If your front turn signals don't work use a test light to check for power and ground at the bulb socket, then start backtracking the wiring through every wire connector to the turn signal switch/button and check for continuity, go all the way back to the fuse if necessary to find the cause of the malfunction. If your rear turn signals don't work check your rear fender wiring harness connector first for corroded, broken, loose pins/sockets, power, and a good ground, (the harness connector is usually located under the seat on the front of the rear fender) then keep tracing the wiring look for obvious harness damage caused by the rear tire. If you still can't find the malfunction backtrack from the rear fender wiring harness connector. If one side does not work you could have a faulty turn signal switch or module check for continuity. I need to change my turning signal fuse in a 2000 mercury sable but cannot locate the fuse relay. Can anyone tell me where it is located. I have no turning signals right now!

For 2000 Mercury Sable 3.0L EFI DOHC 6cyl the Flasher is located on front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted in junction block.

Passenger compartment fuse panel
The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Remove the panel cover to access the fuses. To remove a fuse use the fuse puller tool provided on the fuse panel cover. I suggtes check the next positions...

The turn signals dont work on a 2000 Ford EXplorer

most likely not in the fuse box nor is it a relay, check the fuse and replace if necessary. Turn on your hazards and listen for a clicking sound under the dash on the drivers side. Normally the hazard and turn signal flashers or near each other. Not a Ford fan so I can't exactly say where it is located.

Retrofit 2000 RS with cruise control from newer model ?

In theory it is possible - the spaces are there to accomodate the cruise. However... you will need a new ECU at least as the Mk1 will not have the code for CC.
I would recommend getting the McCruise unit... comes with everything you need and is a better unit than the BMW one.

Fuse box

you actually have a few different fuse locations. the main fuse box is located inside the glove box. open the glove box and look up. you should see 2 white tabs. twist them either clockwise or counter clockwise 1/4 turn.the panel should then be exposed. a sheet with the fuses and descriptions should be there to.
