Causes of flooding on your bike are:

  1. Float level set too high
  2. Too large a main jet, #420 std. ( 400 min, 470 max)
  3. restricted air flow / filter
  4. Pilot jet too large #40 std. (35 min, 45 max)
  5. Air screw set too lean
  6. Jet needle clip set too low on the needle

Kx 125 sputtering in high rpms

check and make sure choke is opening all the way,if it is only opening part way could explain why you don't need to use choke at all to start and then at higher rpm's it is not getting enough air causing it to basically choke it self out.

Flooding on a xvs dragstar 125

Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Dirt or other foreign matter between float valve and its seat.
2. Float valve sticking.
3. Float valve and/or valve seat is worn or damaged.
4. Float misadjusted.
5. Float cracked, leaky or damaged.
6. Excessive "PUMPING" of hand throttle grip.

Theres back pressure on the kickstart and wont start, could it been the timing??

probably not the timing.
what happened when it stopped?
maybe the carb has flooded the crankcase, or something more serious with the piston and rings.
does it kick over with the plug out( make sure the plug is in the plug cap and grouded when you try this )

Im thinking that my 99 kx 125 2 stroke is flooded and need help on how to un-flood it.

It can be un-flooded if you let the bike sit for a half an hour to an hour if its not starting check your spark plug or replace it and check to make sure your carburetor is not dirty.

Cylinder 1991 kx 125

If your going to the trouble of replacing the cylinder - wouldn it make sense to replace it with a quality part ? You really should do new piston & rings while your at it..
If not - you might be doing it again allot sooner than you would like..

Your local bike shop should be able to get one for you..

Hope this helps !!
rate me good ;o)
