Unless you have the computer diagnostic equipment to connect to your bike you have no way of accessing or interpreting the code that was set when the FI and check engine lights came on. If you're still having trouble all you can do is general troubleshooting things like checking all connections, especially battery terminals and ground, spark plug wires, any electrical things you can see. Look for loose or dangling items that may have been bumped or vandalized.

I own a gsxr 750 (2002) and when the bike is running the red oil light stays on and so doesnt the check light.what could this be??im new to this.thanks.

Hi, if the oil light is staying on...........BIG bucks to fix if you run it for too long, you should hear the engine banging away quite noisely if the oil pressure is way too low Is the bike fuel injected or does it have carburettors, if it is the F.I light, it could be a blocked fuel filter causing a drop in fuel pressure at the injectors..... hence the warning light coming on.
Get yourself a friendly bike shop to have a look for you... ask your friends if they use someone they would reccomend to you. Merry Xmas.

I am not sure what kind of bike you have installed the X-TRE on, but the F1 or FI light is a trouble code, I would start back and check all the wires, connectors, hoses, cables etc. Also if your bike has an exhaust servo did you move it, if so put it back, and another thing make sure that your box is set in the proper gear mode setting, they say for a gsxr 1000+ it is 5. I may be able to find more info if this doesn't work, let me know and year make and model of bike K. good luck

No problem. i have a chance to buy a 2007 600 gsxr with 2500 miles in what appears to be emaculate condition for 4000.00. i wanted to find out if there are any major flaws that will make this bike come...

The biggest difference is that the 2007 GSXR 600 has fuel injection instead of carbs. The FI symbol will alert you that the sensors on the Fuel Injection system have found a problem. When that happens, a dealer will be needed to hook up a code reader to see what the problem is. A dirty air filter is something you can fix. A fuel mapping problem is for the dealer to fix. Minor FI problems still let the bike run. Major problems shut down the fuel system so the engine will not even start. Other than that, just be sure the bike shifts smooth and easy and that all electrics and brakes work properly. How old is the battery? How much life is left in the chain? Does the clutch operate properly? How soon before new tires will be needed? I hope this helps. Please rate my answer.

My 2007 gsxr 750 f1 light came on and now the bike will not start has low injector pulse but good spark

The F1 light is really Fi, Fuel Injection. The fuel injection sensors have detected a problem in the system. Major problems will not let the bike start. You will need to get the bike to a dealer so they can hook up a code reader. The reader will pin point what the problem is. Once you know the source of the problem you can then decide if you can fix it or if it is time for the dealer to service the bike. Please rate my answer. Thanks!

Bike shuts off after stopping. no engine check light comes on nor does the FI light come on. 2002 GSXR 1300 4034 original miles

A very young bike to be having problems (Low Miles) did this start after refill at the gas station? If the bike is hesitant and dies when stopping it could be bad fuel, if not is the day temp cold? if so it could have a faulty ATS (Air Temp Sensor). If bad fuel is the issue drain the tank completely and fuel lines, clean the fuel filter on the fuel pump. Refill with clean fuel and it should be OK. If the air temp is cold, check the ATS values with a multimeter. Another thing to check is for any airleaks around the throttle bodies, check all vacuum lines are secure and rubber plugs are in place.

Suzuki gsxr k6 600 fuel injectors problems The F1 light has come on when I started the bike up it alternates between the temp and F1 I have not started the bike in a while 1 month

The display is really FI as in Fuel Injection. The fuel injection computer has sensed a fault in the Injection system. You will need to ride the bike to a dealer and have them read the fault codes. It is probably just something minor. Major faults will not allow the bike to run. You will not hurt the bike if you ride it.

Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?

F1 displayed

The FI light is letting you know there is a problem with the Fuel Injection system on the bike. You will most likely need to take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it with their computer. You can check your fuses and make sure they are intact, but most likely dealership problem.

When warming up, my K3 GSX-R1000 red light (oil) stays illuminated & F.1 displays where temp is.. what does it mean

I have been told this is the "dealer mode" and it might clear if you the bike off then turn the key back to the on position, but don't start the bike, turn it off then start the bike. this is supposed to reset the FI light.

To find out why it has brought this light up in the first place might require you actually taking it to a dealer, but there are lots of forums and info on this bike on the web
