My motorbike stopped when i was riding it and the wheel locked up. when i went to start it i couldnt kick it down. wats wrong with it and how much will it cost to fix

1). Confirm that the transmission is really in nuetral, or insure that the clutch is pulled in.

2). Have you tried removing the spark plug to insure that you do not have a hydraulic lock due to excess fuel in the cylinder? With spark plug removed, any excess fuel should be expelled out the open spark plug hole. CAUTION: INSURE THAT THE SPARK PLUG LEAD IS DISCONNECTED, AND HELD AWAY FROM THE OPEN CYLINDER TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL IGNITION OF EXCESS FUEL.

WD-40 it or push start it.

the motor has seized up
back wheels only lock up it the piston is not going up and down any more and the second start really did the damage

Dear blaster , i request to you please call bike tech for all type of inspection of your bike, after long time vehicle was not start because his all parts is jam.

Unfortunately, there could be so many things wrong and none of them are good. If the top end is new, the rod bearing on the crank is the next likely culprit. You'll need to tear the motor down and see what went wrong. Good luck!

If you are running 5th gear mid throttle the compression in the motor wasnt enough to push the piston back down

for the record ( i run a ts 250 savage 2 stroke ) i,ve done it my self it happends

try to keep it the power band you will be fine

I recomend you to take a compression test.
From your explanation it seems there's no compression at all thts why the engine rotates easier on kick start.

tried the electric start first of all and it just made that noise where the engines turning over but just wont start. i then tried the kick start and still nothing. i went back and forth from the electric start to the kick start for about 45 mins on and off but still couldnt get it to start. i did have a similar problem a few months back but after trying for about 15min it started and have had no problems since. i went out again today but still couldnt get it to start and the man who lives next door who knows about motorbikes had a look but he didnt know as he said he doesnt no much about mopeds. i rang a repair place up and asked how much it would be to pick up and they wanted £30 just for picking it up. so what i wanted to know is does anyone know how i could get it going just to get it to somewhere to repair it properly?check wire touch and battery loading,,most common problem in this issue,,,
