How to change aprilla r5 from mph to kph using mode

if your cluster is mechanical, then it is not possible to change the settings. you can attempt to get a genuine cluster from Mercedes Benz by using your VIN and request for a cluster that displays KPH.
However, if your cluster is Digital, or uses an LCD display, then you will need a STAR DIagnosis tool, hook it up to the car, and perform something known as SCN Coding to the cluster. There you will have the option to change it from MPH to KPH

Doesn't make any difference to mot whether kph or mph

under the console display there are small hole. Use the point of eraser pencil, make click, and ready. Of course another recently model you can do it by going to the MENU, and selecting kph to mph, read you owner manual if it is your option or download

Anon, Remove ground on battery with ign still on to drain all power...now turn ign off, attach ground press hold lap timer button the clocks will do a cycle all way round, then the bike will flash mph kph mph kph 10 times in this time when its on mph release the lap timer button, after this bike will now read mph.

But if you want to change the way speed is displayed, press the Set button for one second, then press the Mode button for 3 seconds 3 times (or until you get to the kph/mph page) then press the Mode button for one second to change kph to mph.

Try this....should switch it back and forth

At the odometer setting (the one that shows your total miles you have on the bike) press and hold the "select" button for about 8 seconds. MPH goes first to KPH. Press and hold again and your radiator setting goes from F to C. Press and hold again, C stays put and KPH changes back to MPH. Press and hold again and you're back to MPH and F.

Press "A" buton for 5 seconds, read out ill flash. Then press button "B" this will now change to mph. Re-press button "A" agin for 5 seconds nd the diplay will return o your default screen.

Go into setup menu in the DIC til you see unit measure! Then select unit measure and everything will be back to normal. One is for kph and celcius, Liter/100km, fuel liter used etc and the other one is for mph, farhenheits, mpg, fuel gallon used etc.
