Take it back to the mechanic and explain the problem, tell him it was OK before he touched it (assuming it was, don't try and pull a fast one) ask if he has any idea what might be causing the problem.
Be nice, don't go in all guns blazing or he will tell you to get lost.
It could after all just be a coincidence and not down to anything he did.

Which is more likely to fail on a 2008 Yamaha Grizzly 700 FI - The Stator or the voltage regulator/rectifier?

Unless there is a factory notice/recall, the chance is equal one will fail before the other... Sounds like its time to have it professionally checked, being a "parts replacer" type of mechanic can be VERY expensive. You might get lucky and the problem is cured by the first part you replace or it could be NONE of the above..(broken wire, bad connection..etc..).. and then you spend untold $$$$ and not fix it!!

I have a 2010 hyosung GV650 Aquila, battery wont hold charge, FI light comes on and bike stalls.

sounds like stator and/or voltage regulator has had it. hard to say which one. i would first check that there is sufficient voltage over all 3 phases coming into the regulator and then the regulator post exit voltage.

Need a Honda eb2500x generator service manual Runs but doesn't produce power circuit breaker is closed

Check if you have power on each leg, l1 and l2 coming off the stator before the breaker. If you have only one leg then the stator is suspevt. if you have zero, check stator resisitance and shorts to ground, rotor the same, and voltage regulator and or capacitor

Headlight

violet i have checked the ground at the headlight and it is good. I also get no power at the yellow wire coming from the stator i do get power from the white wire coming from the stator. If i disconnect the wires from the headlight i then get no power from the white wire off the stator. if i disconect the yellow wire from the stator i also get no power from the white off the stator all connections seem to be fine and the bike runs great. the bulb is good please help! thanks all.,It sounds like you may have lost the stator ground or one of the windings is open. Measure the resistance from the yellow wire to ground and from the white wire to ground. Each winding should be less than 1 ohm to ground. You should also be able to measure resistance across the white and yellow leads. Here again, less than 1 ohm. __________________,,,
