Question about 2011 Yamaha yZFR125
I have a tzr 50 and it runs i have to push start it as it is a electric start recently i been gitting a dead battery and i have to push start it i checked how much voltage i was getting to the leads for the battery with out the battry in place and it reads 4 to 5 volts at idle and about 8 or 9 at mid range rpm is it my stator or voltage regulator that went bad or could it be something worst
It's your stator. One set is obviously not working as you are getting about 2/3rds of the voltage you should be getting. Your regulator is probably OK as the voltage tends to over read if that's the problem. Your bike uses the same engine as the Aprilia RS50 so parts are fairly cheap 2nd hand..
