Check kill switch and ignition first - ktm have had issues with water getting into the switch blocks and playing havock with the ignition system.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

It would seem you posted twice, pls try here, here or here. In some, the wiring diagram is part of the Service Manual. If the year is different, most harness/wiring would be relatively similar.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

SOURCE: would too much oil in case make oil leak on 2004

All engines have a oil level .if too much oil is put in an engine ,above the recomended level then pressure produced when the engine is running will force ouil into places its not meant to go .This will cause oil leaks in any number of places and could cause damage to seals or correct running of the engine .

Classic dirty carb problem. You will need to pull the carb off. Soak it in a gallon carb cleanerwstariner($15)-available most auto parts stores. Get a set of torch tip cleaners($5) at Lowes/HD. A can or two of carb cleaner spray. And a good source of compressed air with rubber tip air nozzle. Best to let it set for atleast 2 days in the cleaner. Bottom out any adjustable screws and right down # of turns for easy assembly. Pay attention to all the little air/fuel circuits theres even 1 in the float bowl that does a hard 180 thats tough to get clear. Thats where those torch tip cleaners will come in handy. Blow every circuit with air---watch out for any orings stuck in the carb they wiil fly across the room never to be found again. You usually can reuse the all gaskets so no parts needed.

Hi, my KTM 625 SXC 2005 is suddenly backfireing on "roll off" and not idling as before. I have noticed that the vacuum connector on the inlet manufold is open and has no pipe connected. I think...

You correct with diagnosis as back fire on roll off can only be lean fuel condition (usually blocked pilot jet) but in your case this vacuum hose
I wish I could answer exactly for you now but truth is you will need either KTM man/shop, or a service manual to refer to - With this as you said it could go anywhere? and with out seeing it for myself I would be guessing as well
but guarantied is the issue causing back fire (lean fuel condition)
cheers, sorry wasn't complete answer but you are definitely on right track

Has This bike got a neutral light , have told it hasn't

Thanks for contacting FixYa. I was reviewing some of the older un-answered questions trying to ensure your issue has been resolved.

No neutral light exists on a 2003 KTM 625C.

No spark ,coil ,wire ,and plug all test good

Common problem to a lot of bikes , Test all earth wires first and make sure all connections and contacts are ok If you do not have a good earth , you will not have a spark . Check all connections and make sure they are clean and in good contact with each others . The last thing could be the CDI unit which command the power to the coil/contact. best of luck and let me know how you go .

Not sure which wire on wiring harness to tail / brake light powers brake light and which powers tail light.

I have a 2003 SXC so I would think it would be the same. On mine the solid yellow wire is the tail light and the yellow wire with green stripe is the brake light.

Handlebar hight

you might want to try some Arrow Fly Taper bars. They work with the stock mounts and should add a couple of inches to the height of the bars. They are really nice to ride with and are alot less expensive that Protapers.
