Question about 2002 Triumph Centennial Edition Daytona
My daytona has died on me and the eml is on and it starts to miss fire and then give up , I thought it was a duff battery as I had just purchased it second hand and bought a new battery only for the bike to do this again , I also read that the eml would go out after 3 heat up/cool down cycles , so I thought every thing was going to be ok , alas it is not , stranded twice in 2 days , do you guys think its the regulator , also its a 55 plate with 2800mls and I dont think its had any work done if there has been a recall for the wireing loom
After further reading I cam across a post where the owner of another daytona left their ignition on and it blew the 30amp (no2) fuse , this I checked out and I had a blown 30 amp fuse , I checked the voiltage to the battery before I changed it and it read 10.9 volts , once changed it read 14.5 volts . I left the ignition on as I didnt know how to put my immobiliser into service mode , then it must has fused ,
anyway just 2 more heat up/cool downs and I hope the engine management light will reset
