Hi Anonymous, you may need an adjustment or shoe replacement for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix/test or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. For more information about your issue please visit the website below. Good luck and have a nice day. https://www.tradebit.com/filesharing.php/search/0/2004+aprilia+mojito+retro+50

SOURCE: I have an Aprilia Mojito 50 2002. Won't start.

Hello. The interesting thing about these small motor cycles is that their charging system is not adequate to keep the battery fully charged. I recommend that you charge the battery fully and then start it. When the battery is totally dead, even a kick start will not start it. The charging process may also indicate that your battery needs to be replaced. If you are still using the original battery on a 2005 I would begin by having that battery tested at any auto parts store.

How stop my scooter cutting out on tick over on aprilia mojito 50cc?

Hi, Mjdwyer1989 and the usual suspects are:
1. Dirt or other foreign matter between float valve and its seat.
2. Float valve sticking.
3. Float valve and/or valve seat worn or damaged.
4. Float misadjusted.
5. Float cracked, leaky or damaged.
6. Excessive "PUMPING" of hand throttle grip.

I have a aprilia mojito scooter 50cc it start ok but when i ref it it cut out straight away and they hardly no power when i set off ?

Check the spark plug is clean and gapped. Aprilia is a high performance bike and the spark plug does tend to foul up.
If the plug is clean check that the fuel is reaching the carburettor ok.
Hope this helps

Most scooters need the rear brake lever holding in for the starter motor to work. If it is not as simple as this the carb may require cleaning out as the bike has stood for some time.
