There is a short in the wiring to the brake light. Need to trace these wires, looking for exposed wiring where it could be touching the frame or another wire -- or the short could be in the light fixture itself.

More info, let me know.

SOURCE: zx7 fuel pump

I went to advance auto and purchased a Mr gasket micro pump model # 42s for under 50$ it produces 2.5-3 psi and with a little creativity will fit in the stock location also I used the original power wires the pump runs quiet as can and produces about twice the volume my bike runs better than ever ! Good luck in your search if you have any questions u can email me at smithbeauser@ aol.com

Hi, Dean and the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, needs to be 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
4. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
5. Tip over sensor needs a reset.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
9. Starter control circuit, relay, or solenoid faulty.
10. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
11. Check for engine trouble codes.

Hi
Some thing is expanding with heat or moving slightly to cause a dead short
if the solenoid click when the fuse blows I would suspect the starter motor brushes / wiring, insulating washer on lead from solenoid or the starter motors internal components

No power to white rogers thermostat

Hi,
Either you blew the fuse on the air handler control board or you burnt out the air handler transformer.
The thing that blew the fuse is probably the contactor in the condenser unit. You will need to check out out cause of the outage before replacing the fuse or transformer.

Assuming you checked fuses and followed wiring for any signs of a short or connector undone. You're getting power to starter, but solenoid sounds dead if you have to bypass it.
If the engine spins but won't fire, I SUSPECT ingition problems. Encountered rain...is seal around ignition unit gone bad? That would splain the plug not firing.
Do you smell gas (oops...petrol) when you crank the motor? fuel getting to cylinder?
Check for water in fuel system.

Headlight wont work all other lights good tail, gauge, indicators etc new bulbs. How is the h/light delay controlled.PLEASE HELP READY TO PULL OUT MY HAIR

A couple of ideas off the top of my head:
  1. I believe the headlight has a dedicated fuse. If it fails, all the other lights continue to work.
  2. High/low relay fuse? See http://www.kawasakimotorcycle.org/forum/kawasaki-streetbikes-sportbikes/78673-zx7-headlights-wont-turn-95-zx7.html
  3. Occasionally, the headlights will appear to have failed if the starter button sticks, since pressing the starter button kills the lights to direct more battery power to the starter. WD-40 is the short term cure for this.
My two cents, hope it helps.
