SOURCE: how to change sparkplugs on honda shadow motorcycle

VT1100 has two spark plugs per cylinder, the sparkplug caps are snap-ons so they're fairly easy to remove. You need a spark plug socket wrench to remove and replace the spark plugs.

I am unsure of what the fork pressure should be set at for a 1985 VT1100C Honda Shadow can anyone help me

hello crazypete...2-8 psi. is norm for the front forks...

442.5-447.5cc.(14.99-15.16oz.) is the fork oil capacity for each leg.

If your riding style is more on the aggressive side and do heavy braking, you can bump the air up a few pounds to prevent the nose from diving so much....i suggest not going over 30psi, because it will wreck the forks. The shop manual says 43 psi is max...i would never put that much.
Hope this helps. Ride safe.

How do you reseal the front forks on a 97 honda shadow 1100 american classic?

The forks need to be dismantled to fit new seals, and it helps to have seal drivers and a couple of special tools to strip them down. If you want to save some dollars just take the fork legs into the bike shop, and ask them to change the seals and refill with oil. It should take them less than 1 hour if they know what they are doing.

Does my 93 1100 shadow have oil air in forks and if oil how to add

First of all don't add oil, change it. to drain your oil you need to remove the air tube, remove the front wheel, loosen the allen screw on the bottom of the fork, unscrew the fork top, then remove the fork tube, and turn it over to drain(be careful internal parts of fork will come out)remove parts clean and inspect. Reassemble in reverse order, snug up the screw on bottom, fill top with correct oil qty,cap top, tighten bottom and finish reassembly.
