I never asked for anything about wiring , the question i sent in was simply asking about the removal & reinstallation of a factory installed air box on a 1978 yamaha xs 750 se

You can get a wiring diagram(complete workshop manual!!) for your XS from the Biker.net website. There is a excellent overview/troubleshooting guide of the troublesome charging system here to help you resolve the problem, as well as options to upgrade parts. Happy to give you advice on the electrics of this bike. I have had plenty of experience maintaining my own:)
